Animation Questions

1.  The main idea behind my whole design was mostly portrayed through the text that is super-imposed over the majority of the frame reading "Growth & Movement", although such themes are also suggested through the visual 'growth' of the leaves and vines all about the frame and the panning across the vague, blurred picture of forest moss.
2.  What I used to my advantage so far throughout my animation is fading in and out as well as panning, both of these things add much to the theme and it's potential to be interpreted differently by every viewer.
3.  I discovered that small things being changed throughout the animation made a great difference in it's interpretation and overall message.

Here is the end result of some simple picture combining and overlay techniques...

(more) Scan Testing

Other ways in which to mess about with the way scanners take their images...

Scans

Playing with making imagery on, around, and above a scanner. Really interesting results! Pictured are various arrangements of a simple printout with the Japanese character for "Flow" on it.
